On July 28, 2019, Kazan will host a Sprint race for Masters and Amateurs athletes, the event is a part of 2019 ETU European Triathlon Championships. Several hundred triathletes from all European countries will come to Russia and compete together at the very beautiful route in the heart of Kazan.

2019 ETU AG Sprint Triathlon European Championships
The competition among Masters and Amateurs (Age Groups) triathletes will be held on 28 July 2019 – the day after the race PRO-athletes. You will have an opportunity to compete together with the fastest Masters Triathletes in Europe!

Sprint distance ⇒ swim – 750 m, bike – 20 km and run – 5 km.

Time limits at the sprint race ⇒ 750 m swim + 20 km bike + 5 km run:
Swimming: 30 minutes
Swimming + T1 + Cycling: 1 hour 30 minutes
Total time limit for finish in the race: 2 hours 15 minutes

The swimming stage (750 m) will take place in the Kazanka river. It is a perfect location without of waves. In 2015 the best swimmers of the world competed there at FINA World Swimming Championships.

The bike course (20 km) is located along the main city streets. You will ride from the Kremlin dam to the Millenium bridge and will admire the major sights of Kazan. This is the best sightseeing tour on the bike!

The running course (5 km) goes along the Kremlin embankment and concludes with the festive finish in the historical center of Kazan city!

Age Groups winners (men and women) will be awarded in accordance with the results of the competition. All finishers of the Sprint race will receive a memorable medal of the ETU AG European Triathlon Championships Kazan 2019.

• Medical Certificate
• Sport Insurance
• License from the Federation of your home country*
• A statement of responsibility
According to the ITU rules all participants of the ETU AG European Triathlon Championships Kazan 2019, must compete in the National uniform of their home country!

Kazan is one of the most beautiful cities in Russia. The race will take place in the very heart of Tatarstan capital, the metropolis which hosted such large sporting events as the World Summer Universiade 2013, the World Championship in fencing in 2014, FINA Aquatics Championships 2015 and FIFA World Cup 2018.
