Among the finishers of the long distance was Maxim Vylegzhanin, the triple silver medalist of the 2014 Olympics, who completed 5 hours of running in 4 hours, 22 minutes and 33 seconds. Immediately after finishing, Maxim shared his emotions with us: “I ran for my own pleasure, despite the fact that I set myself a task to cover the distance in 4 hours and 30 minutes. The atmosphere was great, the fans supported us. Thanks to this, it was easier to run. I am satisfied with my time and physical form. When preparing, I did not do any special exercises, because the training sessions of skiers last more than 4 hours. Do ski races and participate in triathlon events!”.
