On June 30, 2018, for the second time, the resort town of Zavidovo in the Tver region of Russia will host the large-scale triathlon competition IRONSTAR ZAVIDOVO 2018. The competition will be attended by nearly 1000 people. Athletes from Russia, the Baltic countries and the CIS will be joined by triathletes from Japan and the United Arab Emirates.

IRONSTAR 1/8 ZAVIDOVO 2018 is a new and unique format of the Russian triathlon. Distance: 0,5 km – swimming, 22 km – biking, 5 km – running. It’s 1/8 of “iron” distance and first step to Ironman Triathlon.
IRONSTAR 1/4 ZAVIDOVO 2018 – the race contains of 1 km swimming, 45 km cycling race, 10 km running. This format suits both beginners and experienced athletes. You can participate in competitions individually or as part of the relay team.
IRONSTAR SUPERMIX ZAVIDOVO 2018 is a mix of two courses — 1/4 and 1/8 of “iron” distance. The participant goes both distances in turn, with a short break, and the result is evaluated in a separate rating – in accordance with the total time of passage of two distances.

Triathlon IRONSTAR ZAVIDOVO is a race that will take place just 100 km far from Moscow, on the prestigious resort of Zavidovo.

The swim course of the competition will take place in the water area of the Ivankovskoe reservoir, also called the “Moscow Sea”. The bike and run courses will be held on the outskirts of the resort and the territory of the Yamskoi Forest Natural Park.

On the eve of the triathlon competitions, on June 29, 2018, women’s and children’s races (IRONLADY and STARKIDS) will be held within the framework of the sports weekend in Zavidovo. The athletes and their support group will be greeted by Rodion Gazmanov and his group, and Eva Korsakova, the famous radio hostess, will also welcome them.

Radisson Resort hotel Zavidovo is a center of the triathlon competition. The sports village, EXPO Sports Exhibition, the main scene, transition area, start and finish area of the distances locate on this territory.

On June 30, from 08:30 to 16:10, the road traffic will be limited in the competition area. The detour will be organized through the M-10 “Russia” – Konakovo – Ivankovo automobile road and the village of Vahonino – the village of Shosha road.
