The routes of both distances are laid equally and differ only in the number of circles the sportsmen have to pass through. The swimming round will take place in the bay of “Imeretinsky” port, barred off from waves and currents. The cycling race will begin at the bottom of the resort area “Imeretinsky”, and then takes the participants to the mountains – along the ideal covering of Adler-Krasnaya Polyana route, built specifically for the Sochi Olympics. In regard, a number of streets of the Adler district of Sochi and the federal highway Adler-Krasnaya Polyana (Novoye Krasnopolyanskoye Shosse) will be closed on September 22, 2018.
