ETU Sprint Triathlon European Championships for the first time in Russia!

For the first time, the European Triathlon Championships will be held in Russia. We are glad to welcome the participants of the competition in Kazan! A few hundred of the best triathletes from all Europe will arrive to Russia for competing on July 27-28, 2019 at the fast and spectacular sprint triathlon distance: swimming – 750 m, cycling race – 20 km, and run – 5 km.

The swimming stage of the 2019 ETU Sprint Triathlon European Championships will take place in the water area of the Kazanka River – the place symbolic for Kazan. The cycling course is laid along the central streets of the city past the walls of the Kazan Kremlin and the main sights of the city. The race finishes on the Kremlin embankment. Drafting is legal in the race, TT bikes are illegal.

Age Groups winners (men and women) will be awarded in accordance with the results of the competition.

Time limits at the sprint race ⇒ 750 m swim + 20 km bike + 5 km run:

For Age Groups athletes:

Swimming: 30 minutes
Swimming + T1 + Cycling: 1 hour 30 minutes
Total time limit for finish in the race: 2 hours 15 minutes
