The capital of the Polish triathlon, the city of Susz for the 27th time, took international competition – Susz Triathlon 1/2 Ironman Race. This is a great sports event at the most popular distance in Poland and Eastern Europe: 1,9 km swim, 90 km bike and 21,1 km run!

This year the weather made its surprise for the triathlon race participants: was rain and sun, wind and temperature drop, but all athletes received many best impressions, because the event of Triathlon Susz is organized at the highest level!

The day after the Susz Sprint Triathlon, almost 500 athletes went to the start of the main weekend race (1/2 Ironman) including: 1,9 km swim, 90 km bike and 21,1 km run in beautiful of Warmia-Mazury region in Poland.

Together with the best Polish athletes, professionals from Ukraine and Belarus also took part in the race. Sergiy Kurochkin (UKR) won the Susz Triathlon 1/2 Ironman 2018 with great time – 03:55:56! His colleague Viktor Zyemtsev – 2nd place (03:59:26) and Sebastian Najmowicz from Poland – 3rd place (04:00:49).

Triathlete from Belarus – Aliaksandr Vasilevich was also among the leaders in swimming and bike, and eventually took the 7th place (04:06:59).
