Jan Frodeno, an olympic gold medalist and two-time IRONMAN World Champion will start in the upcoming Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia 2019 in Northern Poland. The German athlete is commonly regarded as the biggest triathlon star in history.

Jan Frodeno is the most titled athlete in the history of the sport of triathlon. He has won the biggest races on all the distances. He is the Olympic Champion of Beijing-2008, two-time IRONMAN World Champion (2015, 2016) and a two-time winner of the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championships (2015, 2018). He also holds the world record at the full IRONMAN Triathlon distance. In 2016 he finished a distance of 3.8 km swim, 180 km cycling and 42.2 km run in 7 hours 35 minutes and 39 seconds.

Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia takes place on August 11, 2019. Athletes swim in the Baltic Sea, then take on a challenging, one-loop bike course leading through the picturesque Kashubia region in order to come back to town for the running stage, held on three loops in the city center and along the sea boulevards. Beach finish with a loud cheering crowd is the race’s icing on the cake.
