On 27-29 June 2014 in Olsztyn, there were Polish masters swimming championships. At these events arrived 500 athletes from 8 European countries. Modern Aquatic Center «Aquasfera» in Olsztyn city surprised all a very high level swimming competitions: 50 meters Olympic swimming-pool on 10 lanes, Omega timing system and huge video board.
At the national championship of Poland in Olsztyn I started only 2 distance: 50 m freestyle & 50 m butterfly. On the first day in the 50 meters freestyle, I was the fastest from 200 contenders for more than 1 second. However, 15 minutes after the swim, the judge made a decision about my disqualification… This is the first disqualification in my sports career! The motif of the main referee: movement of the shoulders during the command «take your marks».
The next day brought me a silver medal in the 50 m butterfly. It was the 80th medal in my athletic achievements.

On the last day of the competition I enjoyed the Olsztyn Water Park and looked at my friends in the Olympic pool.

I also made a wonderful trip to a great place for my family – Grunwald, which near Olsztyn in north-central Poland. The Battle of Grunwald (Žalgiris), was fought on 15 July 1410, during the Polish–Lithuanian–Teutonic War. The alliance of the Kingdom of Poland and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, led respectively by King Władysław II Jagiełło (Jogaila) and Grand Duke Vytautas (Witold), decisively defeated the German–Prussian Teutonic Knights, led by Grand Master Ulrich von Jungingen.

Championships in Olsztyn despite on the first disqualification in the life on 50 m freestyle - were very good competitions for me. I will say that this tournament was not worse than the Polish swimming championship in Krakow-2013.

I train to swim faster, ahead of a lot of interesting competitions!
