German wetsuit brand, Sailfish, one of the leading manufacturers of neoprene wetsuits for triathletes in Europe, has signed up to become a new sponsor of the IRONMAN events in Poland. The sponsorship agreement is initially for one year, with an option to extend for another 2 years.
Many joint activities have been planned as part of extensive cooperation. In the first quarter of 2021 year, a series of Indoor Triathlon events will be held, combined with sailfish wetsuits tests. In June and July, sailfish Open Water training sessions will take place in Gdynia. Moreover, all participants of this year’s Citi Handlowy IRONMAN 70.3 Warsaw and IRONMAN Poland Gdynia competitions will be able to purchase wetsuits at a special price with a high discount!
Following a recent expansion of the IRONMAN brand in Poland, there are now four M-Dot events in the country:
• IRONMAN Gdynia and IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia will both be held on August 8, 2021.
• IRONMAN 70.3 Warsaw and 5150 Triathlon Series Warsaw will both be held on June 6, 2021.

Michał Drelich, the head of the Sport Evolution agency, which is the sole licensee of the IRONMAN competition in Poland, said “We are proud of our cooperation, because Sailfish is a valued and recognized brand, but also a company that is close to athletes and understands their needs.”
Drelich continued, “I believe that together we can write the next chapter in the history of Polish triathlon. Especially after such a difficult year for the entire mass sports industry” – he adds.
Registration for all of next year’s IRONMAN events in Poland was launched on December 2, 2020 – via the www.SlotMarket.pl platform.
At IRONMAN Gdynia 2021, 30 slots will be available for the IRONMAN World Championship in Hawaii (2021 edition). IRONMAN 70.3 Warsaw will offer 40 slots for the 2021 Intermountain Healthcare IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship presented by Utah Sports Commission, on September 17-18, 2021 in St. George, Utah, USA.
