Open your masters swimming season in Latvia – welcome to the Baltic Masters Championship «Riga Amber Cup 2019»! The sports center “Daugava” with a beautiful 25-m swimming pool will host the famous international tournament on 16-17 February 2019.

Riga Amber Cup is a biggest masters swimming tournament at the short course venue (25-meters pool / 6 lanes) in the Baltic States. Every year age-groups swimmers from 10-12 countries arrive to Riga in February to compete for memorable awards.

10 best women and 10 best men scoring the highest number of points in two individual distances will be awarded prizes (according to DSV Master Performance Table).

Participants and age groups:
Each participant may take part in no more than 2 events in each session, except for the swimming relay, and in no more than 2 swimming relays.
There are 12 swimmers on each team, of which no less than 4 are women.
Best individual swimmers shall be selected by adding up obtained scores from two events according to DSV Master Performance Table 2013.
Age groups in individual events:
A 25-29, B 30-34, C 35-39, D 40-44 , E 45-49, F 50-54, G 55-59, H 60-64, I 65-69, J 70-74, K 75-79, L 80-84, M 85-89, N 90-94, O 95+
Age groups in team relays:
A 100-119, B 120-159, C 160-199, D 200-239, E 240-279, F 280-319, G 320+
Popular class:
Popular class (beginners) participants can start in 50m freestyle. Anyone who is not competing at a masters level competition can participate in this class. All of Open class, participants will be awarded with medals.
