2019 Riga Amber Cup brings together athletes in the capital of Latvia – on 16-17 February, Sports Center “Daugava” to host the international masters swimming competition at the short course venue (25m pool).

This event already has a unique 10-year tradition and is the most important Baltic Masters Swimming Championships in North-Eastern Europe. The event is coming and organizers has entries from swimmers of the most different countries, such as: Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Ukraine, Slovakia, Russia, Belarus, Belgium, Cyprus, Portugal, Poland, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Czech Republic!
This is wonderful! Maybe it’s time to create in the near future – Masters Swimming World Cup?

The General classification (Men) 2018 Riga Amber Cup – Winner Igor Kozlovskij (M25-29) from Lithuania. Igor wins in 50, 100, 200m breaststroke and 200m medley. He has the maximum amount of points on the two distances: 200m Breaststroke (2:14.92 – 1079 pts) and 100m breaststroke (1:00.70 – 1067 pts).

Swimmer from Russia - Regina Sych (W30-34) – the absolute female’s champion of the 2018 Riga Amber Cup. Regina won a 50m freestyle (26.74 – 934 pts.) and 100m freestyle (58.57 – 944 pts.).

The fastest swimmer of the Riga Amber Cup – Viacheslav Semhaikin (M30-34) from Ukraine. His results in the Riga’s pool – 50m freestyle (22.86), 100m freestyle (50.10), 50m butterfly (24.36), 100m butterfly (53.69). Viacheslav Semhaikin is the World and European Masters Swimming Champion.
