LEN European Masters Championships in Water Polo, Swimming, Diving, Open Water Swimming, Synchronized Swimming will take place from 26 August to 9 September 2018 in Slovenia. The aquatics disciplines will be hosted in four sites. Open Water Swimming in Bled, Synchronized Swimming in Kamnik, Swimming and Water Polo in Kranj and Diving in Jesenice.

Programme of LEN European Masters Championships 2018:
European Masters Water Polo Championships will take place in Kranj from 26 August till 31 August 2018.
European Masters Diving Championships will take place in Jesenice from 29 August till 2 September 2018.
European Masters Swimming Championships will take place in Kranj from 2 September till 7 September 2018.
European Masters Synchronized Swimming Championships will take place in Kamnik from 4 September till 8 September 2018.
European Masters Open Water Swimming Championships will take place in Bled on 8 and 9 September 2018.
The sports venues and logistic:
You won’t lose time for transportation, since all five venues are close to each other. The new motorway from Kranj to Bled and Jesenice enables fast travelling times and easy access. Kranj is only a 15-minute drive from Bled and a 25-minute drive from Jesenice. Official shuttle buses will be running from and to the venues. And near the all international airports - Ljubljana, Klagenfurt and others.
Sport, Travel and Adventure in Slovenia:
Kranj, the venue for Water Polo and Swimming, has two modern and renovated Olympic swimming pools connected to one outdoor and one indoor. In Radovljica, which is a 15-minute drive away from Kranj, is an additional outdoor swimming pool. Open Water swimmers will enjoy the most beautiful open water course in the Lake Bled, the Alpine jewel and popular tourist destination.
Jesenice will host Diving competition and Kamnik will host Synchronized Swimming.
All venues have numerous possibilities for accommodation, which will offer a pleasant stay for athletes and quick transportation from the accommodation facilities to the competitions.

A musical entertainment programme and catering offer will be organized during competitions at the Kranj swimming pool complex.
In the evenings, various concerts and social gatherings will be organized in the town centre, where you will have the opportunity to try the local dishes of Slovenia and socialize.
The Bled city will be organizing diverse events for all the masters swimmers and their accompanying persons.
«TASTE OF BLED»
The “Taste of Bled” will be held in restaurants in Bled and by the lakeside. The “Taste of Bled” is a presentation and promotion of traditional cuisine, prepared and presented in a modern way. The creative offer is inspired by the richness of local dishes. Every day, visitors of the event in Bled will be able to taste traditional local dishes, prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients and presented in the form of Slovenian «street food».
Moreover, concerts and other forms of entertainment will be organized.
Make sure not to miss the opportunity to take the boat to the Bled Island and visit Bled Castle.
