European Masters Swimming Championships 2018: Moment of the year is coming in Slovenia

The main moment of the year in masters swimming is coming – Slovenia host the LEN European Masters Swimming Championships 2018. Athletes in age groups (25+) will be compete in the outdoor Olympic pool of Kranj city.

Dates ⇒ 2 September – 7 September 2018

Venue ⇒ outdoor & indoor swimming pools in Kranj, Slovenia

Athletes ⇒ about 3000 participants from 50 European countries

During the competition days (2–7 September 2018):

6:30 – 7:45 at the Outdoor pool and 6:30 – 20:00 at the Indoor pool.

After the competition until 20:00 (outdoor swimming pool).

Medals & Diplomas

The first three competitors in each discipline will receive medals, whereas competitors finishing from first to eight position will receive a diploma. All diplomas will be available at the Information Centre after the Victory ceremony.

You can also purchase additional participation diplomas at the Information Centre. The price of a diploma is 5 EUR.

The host city of Kranj, Slovenia

Kranj is one of the liveliest cities in Slovenia, bursting with concerts, exhibitions, culinary shows and artisan fairs. Today, between the castle walls, towers and old town houses, many events take place alongside a vivid art scene. Visit Kranj galleries and museums, which are open every day of the week except Mondays. Summer in Kranj is lively from June until September.
