The start of the Dalsland Kanotmaraton 2022 runs at 8 am on August 13 from “Sågudden” in Bengtsfors and all competitors start at the same time. Then you have 11 hours to complete the entire race and you finish at “Sågudden” in Bengtsfors.
The competition of the Dalsland Kanotmaraton runs over six lakes: Lelång, Västra Silen, Svärdlång, Laxsjön, Övre & Nedre Höljen and Bengtsbrohöljen. Buoys will show you the navigation along the race. On all lakes, red-marked boats are deployed to assist.
The Dalsland Canoe Marathon is one of the biggest canoe event in Europe, traditionally hosted in Sweden.
