Commonwealth Games 2018: swimming program the most spectacular sport event

The Commonwealth Games 2018 commonly known as Gold Coast 2018, is an international multi-sport event for members of the Commonwealth that is currently being held on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, between 4 and 15 April 2018.

Some of the hottest competition take place in the water. The Swimming program the most spectacular as incredible athletes power the length of the 50-metre pool in pursuit of record-breaking times.

Swimmers compete in events based around four strokes – freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke and butterfly. Relays will put teamwork to the test, while medleys (combining all four strokes) will reveal the Commonwealth’s most versatile swimmers.

The Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games will also stage the largest para-sport swimming program in the event’s history.
